MTR Studio is an established youth media charity set up with the sole purpose of training excluded and marginalized young people from UK, North Africa, India & the Middle East. Our projects provide young people, who wouldn’t ordinarily have access, a space to be heard and platform to express their thoughts and feelings, constructively and creatively. Through media and film training, MTR Studio supports young people to develop their self-esteem, self-confidence, self-awareness and motivation, and build skills for the future.

Aims & Objectives:
We aim to provide exciting projects that appeal to young people and nurture new talent. Our film and media projects aim to develop young people’s appreciation of their own lives, and, by encouraging cultural exchange, gain a wider understanding of the world around them and their place within it. We provide a range of film training, mentoring and media projects that encourage marginalised young people aged 8 years + to develop both technical, creative and life skills. Young people’s work is produced and screened locally and internationally. Through young people’s creative vision, we seek to create and promote a positive image of young people around the world and aim to uphold the values expressed in Article 17 of the UNCRC.

“You have the right to get information. Information on media such as radio, newspapers, books, TV etc, should be useful to you and not harmful”. UNCRC

MTR Studio employs MTR Productions as its management agent on a project-to-project basis, thereby utilizing the expertise, organizational structure, equipment and technical knowledge that it can offer.
