  • Mission statement

We are unique in being the only charity in the UK dedicted to providing a range of services to vulnerable and low income private tenants.

We provide legal advice and representation through our Housing Advice Centre, but we know that legal advice alone is not enough. We support tenants in a holistic way, focusing on what they CAN do not what they can't. We are developing a new financial inclusion unit which is trying innovative ways to help people effectively AND cost effectively. This includes a Credit Union, Brent Mutual, which will open in February 2011, and a project which will train volunteers to delivery one-to-one money advice within the community.

  • Aims

Brent Private Tenants' Rights Group aims to:

    • We want to provide more support for older private tenants and to increase their active engagement in our work through a new Pensioner Renters project.
