Knoxwood Wildlife Rescue Trust

Knoxwood is a registered Charity in England located near Wigton in Cumbria. We are a sanctuary that takes in sick and injured British wild animals and birds and often species that the regular pet sanctuaries cannot rescue, such as parrots, raccoons, skunk and even a porcupine
Our primary goal is to restore wildlife back to full health and release it back to the wild as soon as we can, we have a no-kill policy which means we do not destroy any creature just because no one wants it or it cannot fend for itself, we provide permanant sanctuary for these unfortunates. Our sanctuary is usually manned 24 hours and is family run with a small army of volunteers. We do all of our own fundraising and are not dependant on any other charity, council or government funding.
