  • Mission statement

LifeLine Network is an international association of NGO’s, community-based groups and social enterprise organisations. LNI works with local leaders in 17 nations who are dedicated to breaking cycles of poverty and injustice at the grassroots level in their own nations. We seek to support these innovative and dedicated leaders through training, capacity building, cross border communication and ongoing support, working towards a world-wide strategic approach to sustainable development.

The LNI Strategy Team is comprised of specialists from around the world who bring expertise from different aspects of development. The structure of LNI includes Regional and Country Coordinators in addition to the Strategy Team. Through high levels of accountability, communication and mutual respect, the Network continues to expand while maintaining its unique flavour.

Our projects and programmes are dedicated to meeting relevant need and empowering local people, through agricultural development, vocational skills training, education, health care, leadership and management mentoring, psycho-social care for orphaned children and micro-finance.

Some of our current and ongoing programmes include literacy/numeracy projects, life skills development, advocating for the prevention of sexual violence towards women and children, supporting orphans into income generating activity, rehabilitating child soldiers and providing community-based maternal health care.

  • Aims

    • We aim to work alongside local people to build a better, self-sustaining future for themselves and for their children, bringing real change in ways determined by local people.
