Good Shepherd Services

Good Shepherd is a food and support service which serves hot meals to many individuals who are struggling in life. Whilst meals are served we deliver advice and information drop ins, support to access benefits, support to gain accommodation and referrals to external agencies.
Most of the food we serve and distribute is surplus stock which otherwise would have been sent to landfill. Our aim is to improve clients well being and quality of life as we connect them with other agencies.

  • Mission statement

Good Shepherd is adapting and growing as an organisation so that we can continue to meet the needs of the increasing number of service users. Some fantastic work is happening in Wolverhampton to address rough sleeping and homelessness, but we believe without additional support the most vulnerable and entrenched service users will continue to fall through the gaps.
We want to break the cycle of homelessness for our service users by giving them opportunities to use and develop their strengths and skills, develop positive peer networks, improve their health and wellbeing and connect with their communities. We will achieve this by facilitating and delivering meaningful activities, offering structured volunteering and mentoring opportunities and supporting people to engage in volunteering, mentoring, education, training and employment.

  • Aims

    Good Shepherd Services aims to:

    • Our aim is to reduce isolation and give people a safe environment where they can build a positive peer network.
