The Kids Network
Connecting For Change
Our vision is to connect young people with even younger people to strengthen London’s communities.
Founded 2016

Mission statement
The Kids Network provides a sustainable, scalable, and effective solution to the twin problems of poverty and isolation by bringing an innovative approach to the volunteering sector.
London’s transient nature and gentrification means that we have young, compassionate professionals living side by side with some of London’s most vulnerable children. The Kids Network is a charity that connects these two groups for positive social change.
Over the course of a year Mentors will work with their Mentee aged 8 -11 to build confidence, resilience and support the management of feelings before their tricky transition into Secondary School. These sessions are fun, supportive and child led, designed to support the development of the child in a positive, focused way. -
Aims
The Kids Network aims to:
- To positively impact the emotional and mental well-being of vulnerable children aged 8-11for personal and academic success
- To combat the isolation that young professionals often feel, and the disconnect within communities because of gentrification
