The Stable Family Home Trust

Established in 1980, The Stable Family Home Trust provides a range of services to support people with a learning disability to lead fulfilled and active lives.

Our services are wide-ranging and include providing supported living accommodation, day activities, accredited education courses and assistance to find employment. Our ASPIRE Personal Development Programme gives adults with a learning disability a unique way to gain skills that develop independence and enhance their lifestyles.

    Our Vision
    The Stable Family Home Trust aims to be a leading local provider of person centred services for people with a learning disability and their families.

    We will do this by providing a range of flexible and responsive supports that focus on an individual's wants, needs and aspiration.

    All that we do will be underpinned by these, our core values:

  • Aims

    The Stable Family Home Trust aims to:

    • To provide a range of support services to adults with a learning disability. These services include supported living homes, day and employment support.
    • To support people with learning disabilities to lead ordinary lives with some extraordinary moments'.
    • To establish & retain a highly skilled & professional workforce. To this end, we invest significantly in the induction, supervision, appraisal, training & development of our staff & volunteers.
    • To demonstrate a person-centred employment ethos for its staff as well as ensuring this ethos is evident in delivery of all its' services to people with a learning disability and their families.
