Kingston Carers' Network

Kingston Carers’ Network (KCN) was established in 1994 and is currently supporting almost 4,000 carers including 680 young carers. Services include: advice and advocacy service; emotional support and counselling; monthly support groups; out-of-hours advice service for working carers; outreach within the elderly patient wards within Kingston hospital and GP surgeries; social activities, outings; wellbeing programme; young carers project providing advice, activities, breaks, 1-1 & mentoring.

    Mission Statement
    Kingston Carers’ Network is a registered charity, providing independent information, support and advocacy to people who care for someone living in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
    It is committed to providing access to services and promoting carers’ well-being and to facilitating recognition of their skills, needs, their contribution and enabling them to be heard.

    Kingston Carers' Network aims to:

    • Carers should enjoy good physical and emotional health and wellbeing
    • Carers should not be financially disadvantaged
    • Carers are recognised and respected as expert care partners
    • Carers are given a life outside of caring
    • Children who are young carers should experience the childhood they deserve and develop the resilience and skills to achieve their potential
