Farnham Youth Choir

Farnham Youth Choir has successfully provided a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for the development of young singers for over 30 years. The musical direction of the organisation has taken it to the highest levels of achievement and it has been consistently recognised as one of the world’s leading upper voice youth choirs. Two generations of choral directors and supporting professional musicians have refined the repertoire over this period.

  • Mission statement

    The purpose of Farnham Youth Choir as an organisation is ‘to promote, improve and develop the musical education of young people in the Farnham area. These objects shall be pursued through the provision of choral training to create and maintain a Youth Choir of the highest musical standards which may include the presentation of public concerts, tours both in the UK and abroad, the production of recordings and participation in choral competitions. ’

    Farnham Youth Choir aims to:

    • To support the attendance of the European Choir Games in August 2019 in Gothenburg Sweden with a view to competing in the World Choir Games in Flanders in 2020.
