Mission statement
The work of the Songwriting Charity engages children and young people to generate creative energy around issues that impact on their lives such as bullying, physical health, mental health, nutrition, wellbeing, school transition, equality and diversity, all through songwriting.
Our projects have been designed to enthuse them about the process of songwriting and music creation while exploring contemporary issues that are relevant to them.
Children and young people are at the very heart of this intensive creative process, without them, there’d be no music, no song. -
