Mission statement
The Adsum Foundation is a non-profit organisation established in 2008 with the goal of investing in people and communities in the developing world, with a focus on Madagascar. We achieve this through education; water and sanitation; health and well-being; and sustainable livelihood projects.

Aims
The Adsum Foundation aims to:
- Improve educational opportunities for children through the construction of schools, supply of school resources, provision of an 'Education for Life' programme and the construction of latrines on site
- Provide communities with access to safe & sustainable sources of water through borehole wells, rainwater harvesting & gravity-fed systems. This is complimented with sanitation & hygiene promotion
- Implement effective and vital literacy training in rural communities, through the training of teachers and subsequent support of a yearly, six-month literacy training programme
- Deliver sustainable livelihood projects, including equipping individuals with the means to access education, work and income opportunities through the reconditioning & sending of donated bikes
- Increase knowledge within the UK of the need of communities in Madagascar
