Youth With A Mission, Bolivia

We work with street children in Bolivia to rebuild their lives. We provide relief of financial hardship, we house them in our residential communities, and we advance their education, either professional or vocational. We do all of this according to our Christian faith principles.

  • Mission statement

    To inspire children and teenagers who live on the streets of Bolivia, to leave the streets and be transformed through the love of God, developing their full potential through their gifts, education and skills.

  • Aims

    Youth With A Mission, Bolivia aims to:

    • Street work - reaching out to those between 8 and 17 years of age who live full-time on the streets. We provide food, medical care, crisis intervention and food, building relationships.
    • Reception House - short term individual preparation and orientation for children who have taken the decision to leave the streets.
    • Restoration Homes - separate homes for boys and girls, offering all they need physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually to finish high school.
    • Reintegration Homes - separate homes for boys and girls, offering them 3 -5 years of supported living while they finish higher education, preparation for the workplace and reintegration into society.
