Nottingham Arimathea Trust

We provide housing and support to destitute asylum seekers and refugees. We provide holistic casework support residents immigration, health and general welfare needs. We also have different projects to engage refugees and asylum seekers, such as English Classes, Gardening and volunteering.

    Nottingham Arimathea Trusts missions is "To ensure that all asylum seekers with no recourse to public funds, and newly-recognised refugees in Nottingham have access to decent and appropriate accommodation and support in order to lift them out of destitution and adequately prepare them for move-on".

  • Aims

    Nottingham Arimathea Trust aims to:

    • To relieve homelessness of destitute asylum seekers and refugees, providing safe and secure accommodation to meet their individual needs.
    • To provide activities to promote integration, e.g. gardening& English classes to maintain residents health & well-being whilst they wait for immigration advisors to take on their claim for asylum
    • Opportunities for engagement in volunteering including empowering residents and other refugees to get involved in advocacy opportunities through Nottingham Citizens Sanctuary Team.
