Mayflower Performing Arts Group

Mayflower provide a youth activity for the local community of Basildon and surrounding areas. We are a totally inclusive organisation that allow our young people, some from disadvantage backgrounds and some with special educational needs to be part of a competing team that gives instruction in the art of Colourguard a dance based activity with choreographed performances with flags and spinning equipment.

    To advance the education of Colourguard to not only its members but also to the public and to undertake charity performances for the local community in addition to providing a platform for our members to compete around the UK and abroad

    Mayflower Performing Arts Group aims to:

    • To provide the funds to enable our members to rehearse in safe and suitable accommodation to suit the needs of their extensive rehearsal schedule
    • To provide the volunteer staff and equipment needed to train our young members in the art of Colourguard
