Newborns Vietnam

Newborns Vietnam’s goal is to save lives by reducing neonatal mortality and promoting the health of newborn children and their mothers in south east Asia with a specific focus on Vietnam. We provide bespoke neonatal nurse training and medical education programmes. Our training programmes are developed and delivered in partnership with British higher education institutions and NHS teaching hospitals, local health providers and medical training colleges.

  • Mission statement

Newborns Vietnam strategy is to develop and implement sustainable, cost effective health neonatal training models that can create a big impact on lowering neonatal mortality and reducing morbidity. We work with local hospitals and Universities to train health care professionals, increase local capacity, and improve medical infrastructure. We are determined advocates working to raise awareness of neonatal mortality and advancing solutions informed by research and our direct experience. Our work is guided and informed by our commitment to getting the basics of newborn care right for every baby. We believe passionately that every child, no matter where in the world they are born, deserves the chance to celebrate his or her first birthday and to grow into a healthy independent adult who can contribute to society without being burdened by the effects of adverse events during the first day or weeks of life.
