Of nearly 700,000 babies born in the UK each year, 40 % aged up to 5 are likely to experience insecure attachment, which will have devastating lifetime impacts on their mental and physical health throughout their life and social problems later in life.
PIP UK is the only national network of community based health teams that provide specialist infant mental health services for babies up to two, parents to be, and new parents and carers. Every year, PIP UK helps to more than 250 families in need

    We envision a society of emotionally secure children who grow up to become socially responsible adults.
    We accomplish our vision by enabling the availability of UK wide specialist infant mental health teams to support parent-infant relationship difficulties.

    Parent Infant Partnership (PIP) UK Limited aims to:

    • PIP UK enables and supports the development of community-based, specialist Infant/Parent Mental Health Services that support at risk families within pregnancy and until the age of two.
    • Leading the coalition of UK wide stakeholders campaigning for infant/parent mental health and healthy infant/parent relationships at national and local level.
    • Raising public awareness of infant/parent mental health in early years through 1001 days campaign and annual National Infant Mental Health Awareness Week.
