Ham And Petersham Sos

We provide regular activities, events, outings and services to the local community. These include one to one volunteer transport to health and social care appointments, social group activities, a shopping bus service, a befriending scheme, monthly pub lunches in partnership with another VSO, sing-a-long sessions and monthly outings. We also provide volunteering opportunities for the local community and referrals into a locally run information navigations program.

    To promote the relief of the elderly, disabled, housebound or socially isolated persons in & around Ham & Petersham, primarily but not exclusively through the provision of a transport service, shopping service & outings as will relieve their charitable need and to promote and other charitable purpose in and around Ham & Petersham as the Trustees from time to time may determine.

    • A reduction in social isolation This is achieved by providing activities, events, outings and direct service provision with transport being central to those with poor mobility & geographical isolation
