Friends of Monze

We build and equip schools in the Monze area of southern Zambia. We help with education by providing educational equipment like text books and computers sports and dance equipment. For health we provide borehole water, showers, menstrual hygiene teaching and washable pads. We establish food growing gardens in schools providing training, tools, trees, seeds, fences, bee keeping equipment.

    Our purpose is to build and equip schools in Monze, including sustainable permaculture gardens to help feed disadvantaged children. We work to ensure that no girls are left behind by providing women’s health education.

  • Aims

    Friends of Monze aims to:

    • Assist in providing education by building and equipping schools.
    • Assist in improving health by providing education on menstrual hygiene, cervical cancer awareness and women's rights. Providing washable menstrual pads made in the area where we work
    • Assist in income generation providing training and equipment for permaculture gardens, beekeeping, sewing menstrual pads
