Founded 1986

  • Mission statement

The mission of the charity is to improve quality of life through direct involvement in the arts. Our primary charitable purpose is to help people with health difficulties or disabilities to lead more fulfilling lives, through creative expression, skills development, social interaction and increased confidence. Our beneficiaries include children and adults with physical or sensory disabilities, as well as people with dementia or learning disabilities.

Our projects give disabled people the opportunity to train in visual and performing arts, film-making, writing and presenting which increases their literacy and communication skills as well as giving them confidence and a vehicle through which to express their views. In turn this can lead to an increase in training and employment opportunities. Our service users are also able to develop friendships and support networks.
