Brent Play Association

To provide daily care, recreation and education for children and young people between the ages of 8 and 30 years, with particular emphasis on integrating those who have special needs into a wide range of 'mainstream' activities.

To be available for emergency day care, and respite for parents who need to place their child in a safe and supportive environment at any time and at short notice for whatever reason.

    Direct delivery of a range of services, and activities to extend and improve opportunities for children and young people to express themselves creatively and constructively, and to develop their skills, and interests to ultimately achieve their fullest potential.

  • Aims

    Brent Play Association aims to:

    • To enable young people who have special needs to participate in a range of opportunities in order to fulfil their potential.
    • To bring together children from the local community with those who have special needs, to help both sets of young people to develop greater understanding and empathy with others,
    • To enable young people to make new friends, take part in new experiences, learn more about the world, become more self-determined and confident, and above all to have a lot of fun
    • To provide a number of safe, stimulating environments where children and young people can socialise, share and participate in activities and events
    • To provide safe havens where parents /carer’s feel confident to leave their children, knowing they will be safe, secure , stimulated and happy.
