Porridge And Pens Ghana

Porridge and Pens works with some of the poorest children in Kumasi, which lies in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. We provide ongoing grants and support to some of the poorest schools and orphanages in the region.
We believe every child should have the opportunity to reach their full potential by having food to eat and a place to learn.
Our small charity makes measurable differences to nearly 200 young lives every day through our Fruit Feeding drop, Girls Power grants and the Brightlingsea Free Sch

    To relieve poverty of orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children and their families, by provision of such grants and donations as shall be thought fit to orphanages, schools and individual families in Kumasi, Ghana, to improve their conditions of life.

    Porridge And Pens Ghana aims to:

    • To Issue small but ongoing grants to two schools and one orphanage in Kumasi Ghana in order to pay for: 1) Qualified teachers 2) Children's feeding fees 3) Children's school uniforms
