North London Deaf Children's Society

North London Deaf Children’s Society has been in existence since 1979 and supports families of deaf children by sharing experiences and knowledge, offering emotional and social support by organising events and activities for the children and their families.

The NLDCS committee, made up of parent volunteers, meet monthly to plan and organise these activities.

The NLDCS is an affiliated local group of the National Deaf Children’s Society, which provides advice, support and inspiration.

    The NLDCS committee, made up of parent volunteers, meet monthly to plan and organise activities, which include sporting activities, parties, outings and educational events.

    The aim is to offer a safe, non-judgemental environment to children and their families to make friends and build confidence and gain the skills they will need to succeed in their goals.
