Charity information

Weston Park Cancer Charity

As the only charity solely dedicated to supporting Weston Park Hospital cancer patients, our projects provide:
o Practical help to those in need
o Emotional support to those in despair
o Enhanced care for those who need it most

The local research we fund provides access to breakthrough treatments unavailable on the NHS and advances the wider fight against cancer.

Founded 1994

  • Mission statement

Cancer rates are on the rise – there are more people in the UK living with the disease now than at any time in our history. Better treatment
and improved understanding of the disease mean that survival rates are also increasing.
With this in mind, we know how important it is to continue to fund the high-quality cancer research for which Weston Park has developed an
    international reputation.
We also need to carry on providing the vital support that patients and their carers need to
manage their illness and to continue to give people in our region access to the very best cancer care services.

Weston Park is the region’s only specialist cancer hospital, providing care for thousands of patients across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire. We are committed to funding things that the NHS is not able to, in order
to offer the best possible care to patients and their loved ones.

We aim to create a better life for people living with and beyond cancer.
