The transportation services are affordable and wheelchair & pushchair accessible. The drivers are specially trained and always ready to help. Transport helps give people a sense of independence, purpose and an interest in what life holds. We're proud to be helping people to be happier and healthier!

Founded 2002

  • Mission statement

Hoppa provides a cost-effective quality transportation service to people who are unable to access ordinary transport for reasons of infirmity, disability, vulnerability or isolation. The services include, for example:

    • The Hoppas provide door-to-door transport to, from and within Waverley's main towns and villages. The four towns at the centre of these services are Cranleigh, Farnham, Godalming and Haslemere.
    • The Hospital Hoppa provides door-to-door, return transport for residents in the Godalming and Haslemere areas from their homes to the Royal Surrey County Hospital and other Guildford hospitals. Transport to Haslemere Hospital and Milford Hospital from the outlying villages in the same areas is also now included.

    Our passengers say:

“I spend a lot of time on my own but Hoppa means I can get out. ”
“We know most of the drivers and they are really good. They will help to carry my shopping to my front door – this is a big help. ”
“You can rely on Hoppa... You know exactly when Hoppa will pick you up. ”
“There’s no other reasonable alternative. ”
“I love it and I would definitely recommend it to others. ”

The communities in our borough are some of the most rural in Surrey, have one of the highest number of 65+ and 85+ year olds in the country, and see that the need for safe, reliable, and affordable transportation continues to grow all the time. Hoppa's services are available to all residents of the borough.
