A transformative social enterprise run by a small community committed to sustainability and nurturing positive change in the beautiful North East of Scotland. We offer workshops, retreats, venue hire and accommodation, within easy reach of mountains, forest and coast. We invite you to come and join us to experience sustainable living.

  • Aims

    The Newbold Trust aims to:

    • The advancement of education through offering workshops and retreats which focus their learning on acquiring alternative skills that, in turn, advance socio-environmental sustainability.
    • The advancement of human consciousness and spirituality through offering a safe and wholesome environment where peoples from all cultures and backgrounds can grow and connect sustainably.
    • The advancement of environmental protection through operating as a model under & teaching the permaculture principle. Also, maintaining a low-carbon charity with seven acres of organically-kept land.
    • Working with disadvantaged, and underrepresented groups, to improve their education and advocacy as part of our social sustainability promise.
