Community Transport Sussex

CT Sussex was formed on 1st of October 2016, when Crawley Community Transport, Bluebird Community Partnership and Horsham District Community Transport all merged. We cover the Horsham District, Crawley and the Mid Sussex District, including Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, East Grinstead and surrounding villages. We provide safe, accessible transport for anyone who, by way of disability, mobility problems, age or additional needs, finds it difficult to get out and about. Keeping people connected!

  • Mission statement

    Community Transport Sussex’s mission is to serve the inhabitants of Mid Sussex and the surrounding area, both individually and through “not for profit” local social groups, by providing:-

    • a flexible and affordable community transport service

    • that is utilised and valued by the community

    • to those who are in need of such a service because of age, sickness or disability (mental or physical), or poverty; or

    • because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe passenger services.

    • To help reduce social isolation by providing affordable, accessible community transport service to our community. Keeping those who have difficulty accessing public transport connected and independent
