Hear Women is a non-profit organization found in 2008, we aim to eradicate gender-based inequalities and discrimination and to empower women of all ages. Our work mainly in UK and Somalia, also in other african countries.
With a main focus to empower marginalized women, girls and children of East and North African background to prosper both in the UK and their own countries of origin.
In the UK , by engaging with the Diaspora, helping women and their families to integrate into society, earn a livelihood, improve their quality of life, maintain a good psychical and psychological well-being.
In Somalia and The Gambia, to address sustainable challenges from women’s point of view, we provide capacities training of gender equality and peace building to the decision makers. Meanwhile, we link the resources to provide monthly assistance to children in vulnerable situation.
Hear Women aims to:

- Advocate Against Gender Based Violence.
- Enable women to be in charge of their livelihoods.
