Support in Mind Scotland

We provide services to people whose mental health problems or mental illness has a serious impact on their life. We also support carers. Services include 1-to-1 emotional support, groups support, confidence building, crisis intervention, vocational/skills training, employability support, and benefits support.

    Our aim is to improve the quality of life for anyone whose mental health problems or mental illness has a serious impact on their life and on the lives of others, including family members, friends and supporters.

  • Aims

    Support in Mind Scotland aims to:

    • Responsive local services - we aim to deliver quality services across Scotland, targeting some of the most rural and isolated areas of the country; we aim to improve people's health and wellbeing.
    • A stronger voice for members
    • Increased understanding and awareness of mental illness and mental health problems
    • Rights - it is vital that people with mental ill-health and their families can live with dignity and respect, with the same opportunities and hopes for the future.
    • Strong and sustainable national presence.
