We have 2 branches of our charity:
1-We provide a free online platform for volunteers to connect with small projects around the world. We assess all projects thoroughly and support the volunteers from the start of their search to returning from their trip
2-We coordinate volunteers during a crisis. We have 2 teams currently in Greece and Serbia who coordinate volunteers during the refugee crisis. We support all of projects there by sending them volunteers
Indigo Volunteers was founded in 2014. We did so because there are 22,000 children who die a day due to poverty and over 2 billion people who live on less than $1 a day. That is not something any of us should accept. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Volunteering is one of the key ways to overcoming poverty. Yet not enough people are inspired to volunteer, or know how. We exist to change that. We exist to help and inspire more people to volunteer – and we are doing this whilst totally revolutionising the volunteering sector!
To live in a world that is equal, fair and without poverty, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
To improve the lives of people around the world, by helping and inspiring people to volunteer.
How We Do It
We travel the world finding charitable projects that need volunteers.
We list beautiful and responsible projects on our website so you can see the volunteering opportunities available.
You register on our website for FREE, and finds the perfect project and volunteering opportunity for you.
You then connect yourself directly with the project and organise your volunteering placement without fees.
We are revolutionising the volunteering sector and are making a great impact. We hope our story inspires you to support us and help raise awareness of our charity.
indiGO Volunteers aims to:
- We aim to provide a great informative service for volunteers to find the right projects to volunteer ethically around the world.
- We aim to provide small organisations around the world with volunteer who will have a positive impact to the organisation and the community in which it is in
- We aim to support and manage volunteers and projects in a crisis situation. Where people want to help and projects need the help we will there to coordinate, creating a positive impact for both.
