OXPIP (The Oxford Parent Infant Project)

OXPIP supports and helps any parent or carer with making a good, early relationship with their baby. Anyone who is feeling anxious in any way about being a parent to a young baby might benefit from working with OXPIP.

Founded 1998

  • Mission statement

The Oxford Parent Infant Project (OXPIP) tackles some of society’s most challenging issues by helping parents and their babies to form strong and loving attachments. Our work is based on research which has proved that even children experiencing the most difficult challenges can succeed if they benefit from at least one stable, supportive relationship (usually a parent or carer), which begins in very early life. OXPIP works to ensure that this relationship can exist and remain secure in order to minimise risk from poor mental health, crime, violence and anti-social behaviour in adulthood.

  • Aims

OXPIP (The Oxford Parent Infant Project) aims to:

    • To improve the quality of relationships between parents and babies
