The Military Wives Choirs Foundation (MWCF) brings women in the military community closer together through singing. Being part of the network of some 75 Military Wives Choirs around the UK and abroad makes a positive and measurable difference by improving well-being, building friendships and developing skills.   • Mission statement

    The Military Wives Choirs Foundation (MWCF) is a registered charitable company limited by guarantee and all the Military Wives Choirs (MWCs) are a part of the MWCF. Through these choirs, we aim to improve the welfare and wellbeing of women in the UK Armed Forces community by providing them with a safe environment and the opportunity to sing, share and support each other. All our choir members are equally valued, regardless of their relationship to the military, their rank (or that of their husbands/partners) or their role in the choir.

    The Military Wives Choirs Foundation aims to:

    • Provide on-going support to our network of choirs across the UK armed forces (includes reservists), enabling the women who are part of them to come together and feel better through
    • Have a nationally understood and highly respected reputation (brand) that is consistent across the network and is well supported
    • Be financially resilient enabling us to focus on the future
    • Be recognised by the Armed Forces community as a valuable welfare and community-building organisation for women in the military community
