Room To Reward
Room To Reward
Room to Reward is a unique charity matching unsold hotel rooms with hidden heroes who deserve some rest and relaxation. On average, 140,000 hotel rooms in the U. K are unsold every night. Room to Reward offers charities and hoteliers a fantastic chance to put these rooms to good use and say, ‘thank you’ to the amazing volunteers and staff who do so much inspiring and often unseen work for charities throughout the U. K.
Everyone deserves time to rest, breathe and reconnect.
Individuals who give the most and make the largest contribution to society are often those who seek the least reward for their efforts. These are the hidden heroes who are all around us, helping those in need, and inspiring others to follow their example.
The result of a partnership between a group of UK hotels, Room to Reward is a charity initiative intended to give respite to the outstanding men and women who do so much to strengthen their communities and to care for those who cannot care for themselves; a small gesture of gratitude to the people who show compassion, resilience and dedication as they support those who need it most.
The aim of Room to Reward is to recognise and reward the commitment, hard work and selflessness of registered charity staff and volunteers with a complimentary short break, giving them the chance to spend quality time with a loved one and enjoy a few days of pure relaxation.
The Room to Reward scheme provides the charity sector with the means to motivate, recompense and contribute to the pastoral care of their invaluable frontline staff and volunteers, whilst giving hotel partners an opportunity to say ‘thank you’ for all their hard work, dedication and compassion, because these are the values that lay the foundation for stronger communities.
