  • Mission statement

The British Ski and Snowboard National Foundation (BSSNF) aims to increase participation in skiing and snowboarding within the UK, and to nurture talented athletes to enable them to succeed.

BSSNF recognises that participation and success in snow sports can often be expensive, and aims to ensure that all in the UK, especially children and young people, have an opportunity to experience these sports, and develop their skills in them.

BSSNF distributes funds to meet three aims:
    - to generate increased interest in participating in snowsports in the UK amongst the general public, but especially amongst children and young people
    - to encourage children and young people to develop skills within the sports of skiing and snowboarding
    - to support those young amateur athletes who wish to advance within the sports of skiing and snowboarding

A grant giving charity, BSSNF works with existing snowsports organisations to ensure that our funding is being directed to provide the most impact, and make the most difference to the lives of beneficiaries.
