Kilsyth Community Food Bank

The prevention or relief of poverty in Kilsyth and surrounding areas in particular but not exclusively by providing emergency food supplies to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty. We work with disenfranchised members of the community providing a wide range of services alongside the food bank.

    KCFB mission to increase public awareness about the true level of hunger in Kilsyth.
    Our vision is to help alleviate hunger in our town by distributing donated food to those most in need.
    We operate our service ensuring we uphold the core values below.
    Compassion & Respect and we recognise the inherent dignity of each person who accesses our service
    Education & Prevention - striving to understand, eliminate and prevent the roots causes of hunger
    Collaboration & Cooperation - engaging and involving a network of community members​

    Kilsyth Community Food Bank aims to:

    • Kilsyth Community Food Bank (KCFB) has launched a pre-Christmas appeal for funds to secure the purchase of land in the heart of the community. The appeal is part of Project Acorn a two phased project
