The Hamlet supports children and adults with disabilities and complex health needs from point of diagnosis to 29 years and beyond. Each year The Hamlet supports between 300-500 families in and around the Norfolk area. Through our day care settings, recreational sessions and out of hours club we give support to families aswell as giving care and guidance where needed from our highly trained staff.
The Hamlet exists to provide recreational, educational and social opportunities for children and adults with profound physical/learning disabilities, complex health needs and life limiting medical conditions, from the point of diagnosis into adulthood.
Our Children’s Centre offers specialist support for families and children from 0 to 18years including: pre-school; out of school recreational activities; activities to promote sensory and physical development; resources, information and training for families.
Our Adults’ Centre offers activities for young adults with disabilities including: skills for life such as arts, crafts, baking and sports (one-to-one and in groups). We also provide an out-of-hours social group offering opportunities to participate in the local community.
