Calderdale Smartmove Ltd

Calderdale SmartMove provide safe and secure accommodation, a 12 month support program and free informal education to homeless and vulnerably housed individuals and families across the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale. Our aim is to help all those feeling invisible, isolated and scared to become more socially included and guide them back into employment, formal education and/or volunteer work. We are the sole provider of this service in Calderdale and have been providing services since 1998.

  • Aims

    Calderdale Smartmove Ltd aims to:

    • To support homeless and vulnerably housed individuals and families into safe and secure accommodation through our network of social housing providers and private landlords.
    • To provide a personally tailored support program for a period of 12 months with the aim of alleviating the multiple exclusion problems invariably suffered by our clients.
    • To provide free informal education courses aimed at helping clients to maintain their tenancy successfully after our period of support has expired and live healthier, happier lives.
