Establish an appropriate balance of opportunity between performance and recreational Football and the opportunities for senior and novice Football to ensure the establishment of a sustainable club infrastructure to allow all players to realise their aims and aspirations

  • Mission statement

    The founder members of Chester Le Street Town Football Club, wish to use their broad range of experiences, skills and talents to provide a base from which to promote excellence in Football, and also to create a community facility to provide life-enhancing opportunities for local people, especially engaging youngsters, including those who may otherwise have become disillusioned, enabling them to achieve success at a range of levels. We believe that the skills acquired through Football, which include the development of social interaction, self-discipline, motivation, organisation, dedication, time-management, goal setting and teamwork, are essentially transferable and may be constructively applied to other areas of life. '

  • Aims

    Chester-le-street Town Football Club aims to:

    • To provide opportunities to all young people in Chester le street to access football and other community activities running from the club irrespective of ethnicity, location and ability
    • To develop opportunities for people to access Football and sporting activities during the School Holidays
    • To work with local youth groups and target hard to reach groups such as women and Girls and disabled people
    • To make the club self sufficient for coaching and technical education, qualifying coaches, through all Levels, enabling players of all ages and levels receive appropriate instruction
    • To develop Club Facilities, and consider other options within the locality to make the club sustainable
