  • Mission statement

    To be the place to go to in the UK for support, advice and information about bladder cancer. To represent patients and carers in all aspects of bladder cancer to ensure that the patient is at the heart of decisions on prevention, diagnosis, treatment and aftercare. To encourage and support clinical research into all aspects of bladder cancer and to campaign for awareness of this much neglected but common cancer.

  • Aims

    Fight Bladder Cancer aims to:

    • To provide support and information to all who are affected by bladder cancer.
    • To campaign for greater awareness of the causes of bladder cancer, the symptoms to ensure earlier diagnosis and to ensure greater awareness in both the primary and secondary care professionals.
    • To support clinal research for better prevention and treatment of bladder cancer by working with the professionals to ensure the right trials are supported to ensure good recruitment and retention.
    • To campaign at governmental level to turn the spotlight onto this common but much ignored cancer that is the 5th most common in the western world but gets just 0.6% of research spend in the UK.
