The Lily Mae Foundation supports Parents and Families who have tragically and traumatically lost a baby to Stillbirth or to Neonatal Death. We Provide:
Memory Boxes to Bereaved Parents and Memory Making Kits to Grandparents.
Counselling Support for Parents, Siblings and Family Members.
Information to Parents, Families and to Health Care and Medical Professionals.
Training and Support for Midwives, Student Midwives and Neonatal Nurses.
Research into the Prevention of Stillbirth and Neonatal Death

    CHARITABLE OBJECTIVES

    To promote and protect the psychological, emotional and physical health and well-being of parents, their families and friends when a baby dies in the uterus, or at birth or soon after birth, by:

    a) Supporting and providing information to bereaved parents, their families and friends.
    b) Working collaboratively to improve and enhance professional practice with health and social care professionals for the benefit of bereaved parents and their families.

    To promote and assist in research and the implementation of best practice to identify the causes and help reduce the incidence of the death of a baby in the uterus, at birth or soon after birth.

    To make donations to other charitable organisations having similar objects as the charity that the trustees shall at their discretion deem suitable.

    To make donations to other charitable children’s organisations that the trustees shall, at their discretion deem suitable.
