Charity information

Free The Bears UK

Free the Bears rescues and provides sanctuary to some of the world's most vulnerable bear species. We operate rescued bear sanctuaries for sun bears and moon bears (Asiatic black bear) in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, and support sanctuaries in India for rescued sloth bears. Working with our partners, almost 1,000 bears have been rescued and given safe sanctuary since 1995. We also work to raise awareness, strengthen laws and change attitudes towards the illegal wildlife trade.
