Innervation Trust Limited
ISingPOP is Innervation Trust's primary school singing and recording project. It gives thousands of children across the UK the chance to learn specially written songs and record their very own iSingPOP album. Week long projects across the UK provide unprecedented opportunities for children to learn and record the songs and also perform in a family concert complete with dance routines, TV screens and a professional sound system. A fantastic way to bring the community together.
ISingPOP uses music as a platform to present relevant topics to children such as caring for the wider world, love, friendship, the meaning of Easter, the meaning of Christmas and much more. So much of the music readily available to children today is unsuitable or even harmful. ISingPOP provides an alternative with wholesome content from a Christian perspective.
The project also provides a positive educational experience for the children. It develops their artistic and performance skills, their confidence and ability to work as a team. They of course also learn a great deal from the topics taught and discussed from the content of the songs.
Partnership is an important part of the work of iSingPOP and we link with many organisations and churches, particularly the Church of England with whom we work very closely in many communities.
We have had an overwhelming response over the last few years from pupils, staff, parents and churches. We have completed over one hundred project weeks in the current academic year and the plan is to do even more in 2017/18.
iSingPOP is a fantastic community project offering schools the chance to record their own album, to give their children an experience they won't forget and run a community project in conjunction with the local church. An all round fun, wholesome and beneficial experience for the children and their families in an age where their is so much fear and uncertainty.
Innervation Trust Limited aims to:
- To offer music to children of all backgrounds in primary schools with wholesome and suitable content, in a style that they can enjoy and relate too.
- To do this by running week long projects across the UK for schools, in partnership with the local church.
- To positively affect communities as a result of the projects in difficult and troubled times.
