Our aim to alleviate poverty. We run an emergency foodbank which we have a community connector at 4 out of 5 days a week. We run a low cost, second hand furniture service. We also have 3 social enterprises.

    Real help today, hope for tomorow.
    Our focus has remained for 31 years of alleviating poverty which will continue to affect the population of Aberdeen. Instant Neighbour continue their core work of assisting people on low incomes to set up home, through our second hand furniture stores. We also provide 3 social enterprises Carpetinc, Removalinc and Joinerinc, which not only provide valuable income but excellent work placements and volunteering opportunities. Plus, we provide an emergency foodbank service, have our very own Giving Tree appeal every christmas for 26 years and a furniture storage service for those who have been evicted from their homes.
