We work in Brighton and Manchester with people who are close to the streets, to make their experience of housing vulnerability as short, safe and healthy as possible. Justlife supports homeless people who are placed in unsupported emergency or temporary accommodation, or in other vulnerably housed situations, and those who are at risk of eviction. The support we provide is flexible and person centred, enabling people to grow and flourish according to their own aspirations and at their own pace.
Justlife Foundation is in existence because we know that every time we don’t act another person living in unsupported temporary accommodation suffers. They suffer with deteriorating mental and physical health, become victims of crime, lose control of their life, drop off the bottom rung of the housing ladder or die prematurely.
Justlife make's people’s experience of housing vulnerability as short, safe and healthy as possible.
Justlife Foundation aims to:
- Open and run our own accommodation service in Manchester.
- Have front-line workers network in Brighton, enabling people who work with vulnerably housed people to build links and share skills and experience.
- Putting UTA on the agenda of local and national decision makers and facilitating a national initiative that would change systems relating to the provision of Emergency and Temporary Accommodation.
