NewDay United

Our vision and values are centred on a message of hope, help and healing for Africa. We want to see lives restored and communities transformed in the spirit of “Ubuntu” (meaning ‘humanity to others’). Emphasis is placed on community working together for the benefit of all, we collaborate with organisations who are already changing their world - churches, businesses, community-based organisations and individuals. Our projects cover health, education (all ages), mentorships and social enterprises.

Releasing fullness of life in Africa

  • Aims

    NewDay United aims to:

    • Hluma Programme: A safe place for school children to learn life skills and receive 1-2-1 help. It gets children off the streets between school day end and parents return when most vulnerable to gangs.
    • Sewing Enterprise: A social enterprise investing in equipment, materials and coaching of a group of women until a steady income is established, enabling sustainability as they skills train others.
    • CLC: Targeting communities excluded from opportunities to learn IT skills that are scarce in SA and yet in great demand. This empowers our learners to be employed, confident and economically active.
    • Entrepreneurship Training Prog: We believe the future of SA's economy lies in the new informal small, medium & micro-sized enterprises. We aim to empower entrepreneurs to run successful businesses.
