AMAT provides homeless people with rapid and direct access to affordable, quality homes, as well as support for their wider health and wellbeing.
We provide accommodation for approximately 430 mainly single adults aged 25 and over, every year, predominantly in the Medway towns and in Maidstone, Kent.
To provide rapid and direct access to affordable, quality homes and homeless services in Medway and Maidstone. To offer support to homeless people and those at risk of homelessness and to disseminate best practice across the sector.
AMAT aims to:
- To provide rapid and direct access to suitable, safe and secure housing for mainly single over 25 year old homeless people.
- To offer support for vulnerable homeless people and those at risk of homelessness
- To share best practice in the homeless sector and with related services, ensuring the voices of homeless people are heard
