Stay Up Late

We support adults with learning disabilities to lead full and active social lives and the lifestyle of their choosing. We do this in two main ways:
1) Campaigning to change inflexible support systems that mean that adults with learning disabilities aren't able to be active in their communities in the evenings
2) Through our Gig Buddies volunteering project which matches socially isolated people with a volunteer who loves the same music, and they go to mainstream gigs together as friends.

Founded 2010

  • Mission statement

We believe that all people with learning disabilities and/or autism should be able to choose how they live their lives.
Our mission is to support people to do this through our volunteering project and also through challenging inflexible support systems.

Perhaps our mission is best summed up by The Beastie Boys: "you've gotta fight for your right to party"
