Jurassic Coast Trust

The Jurassic Coast Trust is the charity that protects, promotes, and engages people with the Jurassic Coast, England's only natural World Heritage Site, covering 95 miles and 250 million years of Earth's history. The Trust works to ensure people have the best possible experience of it through enabling effective protection of the Site and conservation of its fossils, through powerful engagement with people and organisations, and by deepening understanding of the Site and of World Heritage.

    Our mission is to enable everyone to have the best possible experience of England’s only natural World Heritage Site, whether they want to learn, enjoy, work or study.

    Jurassic Coast Trust aims to:

    • To protect the Jurassic Coast and its setting.
    • To engage with people and organisations in Dorset, East Devon and elsewhere to improve people and organisations’ experience of this incredible World Heritage Site.
    • To deepen our understanding of, and people’s connections with, the Jurassic Coast.
    • To sustain the organisation financially and demonstrate exemplary governance.
