Nottingham Law Centre provides free, confidential and independent advice on Housing, Debt, Welfare Benefits and Employment. We also run a Court Duty Scheme whereby we will represent, at Court, anyone facing possession proceedings. In addition to this our office is open to the public 5 days a week so our fabulous staff are constantly assisting people with other issues and signposting people to relevant support services.

  • Mission statement

At the Nottingham Law Centre we strive for a just and equal society where everyone's rights are valued, defended and protected. In order to achieve this we provide a free, accessible, accountable and specialist service in areas of law that have the greatest impact on the most vulnerable and disadvantaged sections of the community. These members of society often find that access to legal advice is often limited or non-existent. At Nottingham Law Centre we are constantly trying to adapt the way we work and the services we provide based on the challenges faced by and the needs of the community we support. As such we are constantly evolving and trying to find ways to facilitate such changes.
