Busy Bees Pre-school Playgroup

Busy Bees is a non-profit making registered charity, run by an elected committee of parents/members of the community. We have been repeatedly rated outstanding by Ofstead.
Busy Bees offers high quality sessional day care for children from 2 years 6 months until they begin school. All children are supported in developing their potential at their own pace.
We believe that the group's activities should be open to all children and families and to all adults committed to their welfare.

    In order to achieve the standards to which we are committed are aims are:
    To provide equal opportunities to all regardless of cultural, ethnic, religious and social groups or HIV/AIDS status, with or without disabilities.
    To have regard for the Special Educational Needs and Disability code of practice 2014, and to provide appropriate learning opportunities for all children.
    To give parents the opportunity to become involved in all aspects of the group.
    To invest in staff training to ensure Busy Bees stays up-to-date with current trends in pre-school child care and education.
    To tailor our curriculum to the individual needs of each child in the group.
    To offer key person support to all children and their families, giving stability to each child and a point of contact for each family.
    To invite community figures into the group to talk to the children and broaden their knowledge and understanding of the world.
