Community Centre offering 5 rooms for hire ranging from a boardroom that can seat 10 to a large hall complete with stage that can seat up to 300. Social Club with lounge bar, skittle alleys and games room offering pool and darts. The centre is used regularly by a variety of user groups for exercise classes, art groups, music groups, choirs, drama, dancing, horticulture, history, handicrafts, bridge, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides as well as exhibitions and fairs open to the public.

  • Mission statement

    The objectives of the Association shall be:

    (a) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Churchdown and the neighbourhood (hereinafter called “the area of benefit”) without distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions by Associating Voluntary Organisations or inhabitants, in a common effort to advance and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

    (b) To establish a Community Centre (hereinafter called “the Centre”) and to manage and maintain such a centre for activities provided by the Association and its Constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objectives.

  • Aims

    Churchdown Community Association aims to:

    • Fundraising for new folding chairs for the Community Centre. The existing chairs are starting to show signs of wear and the padded seat is no longer comfortable to sit on during events.
